Journal Entry #2

As I continued reading this book Montag got to thinking about what Clarisse had said about him being happy from page 10. He realized that he wasn't very happy. I could tell from the beginning that he wasn't a very joyful person. He thought about their conversation for a while. When he went into his room he saw his wife laying on their bed. He realized she over dosed on pills so he called the doctor. I think it is so weird how Montag's wife, Mildred tried to commit suicide and then say she doesn't remember. She may have really not remembered but it seems really weird to me. They don't seem like the happiest couple in the world.
